Why we started National Star Homes
At National Star Homes, our Calgary home-building company started with a passion for making your home feel more like home. Often homeowners have an area or areas that don’t entirely function as well as they should. While they love their neighborhood, those problem areas could be enough to make them sell their home.
Consultation
The first step is to meet with you to determine your wants and needs for your basement development. Will it require electrical and plumbing? Are we framing in a new bedroom or bathroom? Do you want a kitchenette? We will also find out your budget at this stage.
Estimate
Once steps 1 and 2 are completed, we'll be able to provide you with an accurate cost estimate for your basement development. Sometimes compromising on the materials used will make a difference in the end cost.
Design
Once we know what you want to achieve, we'll take all the information provided and create a basement blueprint. This is when we will also pick materials and paint colours. We will give you options when choosing materials to keep it in line with your budget.
Construction
This is when the real work begins. Taking that blueprint, and with your budget in mind, our basement builders will transform your space. Once the renovation is complete, we'll clean up any mess, and you'll be left to enjoy your new space.
